Michelle Ranger graduated from Canadore College in 1995 as a Level 2 Early Childhood Educator. Since finishing school, she has had the privilege to work in a variety of roles in early learning environments, and is excited to bring her knowledge and experience to the Family & Child Care Connections family.
Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia into a military family and then as a spouse of a Canadian Forces member, Michelle has had the opportunity to travel and live in numerous locations throughout Canada and the United States. This fostered from a very young age an appreciation for diversity, wonder, and the discovery of anything new. Ultimately, realizing that she is inspired by that same sense of wonder and discovery in the eyes of children as they learn and develop. There is honestly nothing better!
She has dedicated the past 28 years of her career to educating; not only herself but others, as well as supporting, and advocating for an inclusive, and quality early learning environment for all children and ECE’s. Michelle will be as dedicated to bringing that same passion to the providers, and the children in Family Child Care. She and her family have made this province home and is looking forward to all the place she will travel throughout Central Newfoundland.
