FCCC licensed as an agency
2013
Expansion
Expanded from Metro (40km radius) to Western Region (Family Resource Centre).
2021
OGP Option
Child care providers given the option to join OGP.
2022
Expansion to all NL
An agreement was signed with the Newfoundland and Labrador Canada-wide Early Learning and Child Care Agreement. Expanded office in Gander.
2023
Expanded office, recruiter hired
Expanded office in Clarenville. Hired a recruiter. There was a significant increase in applicants.
2024
Two publicity campaigns, OGP coverage to all
FCCC completed two publicity campaigns and applicants continued to increase. All regulated family child care providers were under OCP.
June 2025
Target program numbers reached
Met 3-year plan target of 80 new homes. Agency evaluation completed.
